Donald Trump’s murderous and criminal bombing of Yemen is a continuation of the bipartisan US legacy of terror! Just yesterday, Trump’s airstrikes killed 31 and injured over 100, including women and children. He vowed to continue using “overwhelming military force” to punish the people of Yemen for the unwavering stand they have taken in support of the people of Palestine, and their ongoing resistance against the US-Saudi-Israeli war machine. Trump’s cowardly bombings are part of a long line of US aggression against Yemen. From Barack Obama’s drone strike on a Yemeni wedding, to Trump 1’s US-Saudi bombing of a school bus, to Genocide Joe’s failed retaliation last winter. While each administration differs in its rhetoric, and specific flavor, they are all guilty of crimes against the people of Yemen. 

Yemen is one of the poorest countries in the world, having endured decades of war and a starvation blockade imposed by the US and Saudi Arabia. Despite that, it’s people have steadfastly stood against US imperialism, and especially in support of the people of Palestine! People in the US, the country responsible for the slaughter of people in Yemen, have an obligation to stand up to the US war machine, no matter what the cost. After all that the people of Yemen have suffered, and sacrificed, how dare people in the US make excuses for not doing what must be done. The empire is the enemy.
