It’s a clean sweep, 10-0 for the DNC protestors BEL has been supporting since August! Not guilty, not liable. It is right to rebel against genocide!

8 months ago the CPD, under Brandon Johnson’s leadership arrested over 60 protestors for saying genociders aren’t welcome in Chicago at the DNC. After countless court dates, BEL followed 10 protestors who were forcing the city to show their hand at trial. And the city failed. They failed miserably. For all 10 trials they were unable to find a single protestor liable. This is an important victory for fighting repression! With the escalation of repression under Trump, it’s critical to fight political repression everywhere it occurs. We commend those who refused to take a deal and fought until the very end.
