What would you do if you saw your child being dragged into a van by a gang of armed thugs? What would you do if you saw your parents being kidnapped? Wouldn’t you do everything in your power to stop it? So then why have the ICE Gestapo been allowed to go on a rampage across the country?

The ruling class wants you to think the migrants are responsible for society’s ills, but why did they have to come to this country in the first place? Why do so many people from around the world feel the need to leave their homeland for the US? The answer is because the US empire unleashes terrorism all over the world. Whether it be the sanctions on Venezuela destroying the livelihoods of thousands of Venezuelans, forcing them to look for jobs in the US, or drone strikes on weddings in Afghanistan, or providing the bombs Israel uses to destroy hospitals in Gaza. The US empire is intent on oppressing as many people as it possibly can. In fact, the reason why the borders today exist is because the US invaded Mexico in 1846 to steal the land and spread slavery further west.

Even if what ICE is doing was legal, that wouldn’t make it any less right to fight back, because we aren’t going to let the ruling class decide the arbitrary line they drew is more important than the lives of millions of men, women, and children. We aren’t going to let the ghouls who bomb schools decide what is right or wrong. That’s why we have to ask ourselves what it will take to not just stop Trump and ICE, but also how do we destroy the entire deportation machine? It’s going to require that we stop begging from politicians who aren’t going to actually change anything. We need to go to the masses of people who are directly under the gun of this system and unite as many people as possible to build a movement that will destroy the source of this misery, US imperialism.
