Smash the genocidal war machine! Fuck Anglo-American Imperialism

On Monday June 30th, the UK government began the process of banning the group Palestine Action under anti-terrorism laws. For years, Palestine Action activists have disrupted, defaced, and destroyed the offices and manufacturing plants of Israeli weapons company Elbit Systems, which is the primary supplier of drones and land equipment to the Israeli Defense Force (IDF). The ban, issued days after Pal Action activists redecorated two military planes in the Brize Norton Royal Air Force base, is being voted on by parliament and could take effect by the end of the week.

The ban, which Pal Action is challenging in court, would put them on par with terrorist organizations under British law, making it illegal for anyone to promote or be a member of the group. Anyone supporting Pal Action could land up to 14 years in jail.

As the unholy godfather of the US and Israel, the UK is desperately trying to cover up the crimes of its offspring by criminalizing brave opponents of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza. The UK is directly responsible for the creation of the modern state of Israel via the Balfour Declaration and the British Mandate of Palestine that granted the land to Zionist settlers, and has worked with the US to keep the Middle East subordinated to their interests.

Pal Action isn’t the only recent target of UK repression. Prominent musicians Bob Vylan and Kneecap are being investigated by police after putting on defiant sets at Glastonbury music festival, calling for a free Palestine and chanting, “death, death to the IDF!” Talking heads on the BBC have spent the last few days arguing over whether the broadcast should’ve been shut off, spinning the narrative that what these musicians did amounts to a hate crime. The US followed suit and has revoked the visas of both groups. The right to free expression, including the right to express burning hatred for a genocidal army, must be defended. The Zionist condemnation of these sets expose the glaring gap between people of conscience, who would never hesitate to chant “death, death to the SS!”, and those in power with no other recourse than to ban, censor, and jail people for resisting the Gaza genocide.

The UK was once the most powerful empire in the world. Today, it is a cancer-ridden monarchy and a lapdog of US imperialism.

We salute Palestine Action for their defiance in the face of repression, and call on people all over the world to protest UK embassies & consulates to demand:

No Ban on Palestine Action!

Fight Repression, Defend Resistance!
