Statement on Biden’s Presidency | January 19th, 2025

Genocide Joe’s repulsive four years as president are finally at an end. His administration began with the whipping of Haitian migrants fleeing imperialist devastation by US Border Patrol agents. It ends in the blood-soaked depravity of the US-Israel genocide in Gaza.

Between those two noxious bookmarks, there were increasing sanctions on Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua in failed attempts to overthrow their governments, which succeeded only in the continued strangulation of their economies and the denial of life-saving medicine. The US propped up the reactionary Marcos government in the Philippines, deploying more troops to that country while saber-rattling its imperialist rival, China. In Pakistan, the US teamed up with the military to help stage a coup against the elected government of Imran Khan.

Genocide Joe’s government resisted diplomatic attempts to resolve the heinous conflict in Ukraine, instead taking every opportunity to weaken its nuclear-armed imperialist rival, Russia. The US has kept the spigot of arms wide open, sacrificing Ukrainians in a war that only serves to advance the geopolitical interests of US imperialists. Genocide Joe and his diplomats spearheaded the UN-backed Kenyan intervention in Haiti.

The crowning achievement of the US-led “rules-based international order” that Genocide Joe promised to restore is the US-Israel genocide in Gaza. While Genocide Joe pontificated about the dangers of Donald Trump, and his supporters suggested that he understood the world better and was a man of principle, the reality of US democracy—the bipartisan reality of US imperialism—was laid bare before the whole world. The modern-day Holocaust in Gaza, the dismembered limbs of infants, the incineration of whole families, the double-tap strikes on “safe zones,” and the use of starvation as war, all were co-signed by Genocide Joe and wrapped in an American flag.

In a recent exit interview, Genocide Joe claimed that he told Benjamin Netanyahu to stop the carpet-bombing of Gaza within a week of October 7th. We don’t know whether he’s mentally incompetent or just lying, because it was the United States that provided the arms, the funds, and the political support for every day of the Gaza genocide. As recently as January 4th, the Genocide Joe State Department approved a new $8 billion weapons sale to Israel, bringing the total to $17 billion in weapons transfers since October 7th. Every dead Palestinian, alongside the Yemenis, Lebanese, and Syrians who were slaughtered in favor of the US-backed “Greater Israel” genocidal project, is on Genocide Joe and his administration.

No member of his administration should go a day of their life without being confronted for their complicity in the genocide. Whatever morally bankrupt institutions, think tanks, NGOs, or universities hire Killer Kamala, Anthony Blinken, the snickering ghoul Matthew Miller, Karine Jean-Pierre, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, or the dozens of other architects and cheerleaders of genocide should be met with scorn, protest, and resistance.
