Across the US, in big and small actions, people took up the call: no business as usual on October 7th!

Banners were hung for Palestine in Chicago, and Dallas, Texas.

In Denver, Colorado a crew went out putting up posters and talking to people about the genocide and the complicity of the US.

In Chapel Hill, North Carolina students walked out of class, and others held a noise demo.

In Dubuque, Iowa posters were made to be distributed on campus.

In New York City, Behind Enemy Lines held a speakout in the South Bronx, People spoke their bitterness about the two years of genocide we’ve all witnessed on our phones, and the mere lip service we’ve received from the politicians responsible. On the second anniversary of the al-Aqsa flood, we heard from one woman who said, “if it was your kids, your family, what would you do?

That was followed by a rally directly confronting the Israeli consulate in Manhattan. Despite two needless and cowardly arrests by the NYPD, we held our ground for long enough to let the people of NYC know that in the face of a genocidal system, the only just response to is to betray the system. To symbolize our pledge of allegiance to the people of the world, we ended our protest by burning the American and Israeli flags. The two arrested protesters have been released.

In Chicago Behind Enemy Lines held a march and speakout on Devon avenue, where despite the rain, CPD harassment, and the intimidation of the ICE and National Guard invasion, people proudly came out to show their support for Palestine.

After agitation on the trains, we gathered in front of the Israeli Consulate, chanting, giving speeches, and reading poems, before taking the two bloody rags of imperialism and gaving them the treatment that they deserve. We capped off the rally with a march to the Sears Tower, where we exposed the complicity of companies like Inspirex with the US-Israel war machine.

If you’re inspired by this message, if you love seeing those ugly rags torched, hit up Behind Enemy Lines, and get seriously mutinous.
