Months ago, Behind Enemy Lines and a group of DNC protesters made a decision to reject all plea deals and go to trial, because the only people who did anything wrong on 8/20 were the genocidal freaks in the convention center and Brandon Johnson’s CPD thugs defending them.

Not a single one of that group has been found guilty or liable, all of the charges have been dropped or disproven in court. The city of Chicago has not won a single 8/20 DNC protest case in court.

With the escalation of repression against students under Trump, it’s critical to fight political repression anywhere and everywhere it occurs, and build a culture of people not going along with deals and demanding that institutions- especially so-called progressive institution like the city of Chicago defend their actions.
