Not guilty!
It’s right to rebel against genocide!
Today one of the DNC defendants who courageously chose to take their case all the way to trial was found not liable in Cook County Court. The judge found that the City of Chicago, failed to meet the burden of proof to prove that a city ordinance violation had been committed.
This is proof of what Behind Enemy Lines has been saying since day 1: What happened on August 20th was a police riot in defense of genocide. The overwhelming use of force by Brandon Johnson’s thugs was a violation of free expression, and the kettling of protesters a violation of the CPD’s own policies.
Since the DNC and the election, Brandon Johnson has positioned himself as an opponent of Trump, all while the prosecutors who work directly for him are dragging protesters into court on a near-monthly basis for cases they cannot prove or win. This whole prosecution of DNC protesters is at the same time an expression of the repression against anti-genocide protesters, a colossal waste of time and resources, and another in a long life of Brandon Johnson’s failures.
