Behind Enemy Lines’ reply to Trump’s unhinged comments: US out of Gaza!

In a meeting of two the greatest criminals on the planet, the unhinged freak Donald Trump proposed a new US-Israel final solution for the people of Gaza: the permanent expulsion of Palestinians from their homeland. Typical of all Trump’s statements, these proclamations are a combination of bluster, trial balloon, and profound candor of the ugly reality of the global role played by the United States. The truth behind this instance of Trump running his fat mouth about “cleaning out” Gaza to create “the Riviera of the Middle East​​​​​​​” is that the US has already teamed up with Israel for the past 16 months to carry out a world-historic crime against the people of Gaza and all of Palestine. That the people of northern Gaza are already returning to their homes is a tribute to the steadfast spirit of resistance of the Palestinian people, who have never stopped fighting for their right to return to their homes across all of Palestine. The people of Gaza did not bow before the Biden-Netanyahu​​​​​​​ alliance, nor will they before the collusion of Trump and Netanyahu​​​​​​​.

Trump’s deranged proposal to ethnically cleanse Gaza is the logical conclusion of decades of full-throated US support for the dispossession, torture, and slaughter of the people of Palestine carried out in service of the theft of their land. All that Trump’s proposal has done is strip off the veneer of concern for “human rights” or the “rules based international order” that had already been exposed as nonsense before the people of the world. The US, with billions of dollars of military aid, steadfast political support, and the steady flow of weapons, stood behind every crime against the people of Gaza: the kidnapping and torture of doctors, the incineration of entire families, the bombings of schools, homes, mosques, and churches, among the endless list of depravities carried out by the IOF.

Whether it’s presented as the, open, uncensored  politics of “America First,” or couched in the more traditional language of alliances and international cooperation, the reality of US domination for the people of the world is death, destruction, and immiseration, as the people of Gaza witnessed firsthand during the modern-day holocaust in Gaza. Whether it’s the wrecking of whole economies through sanctions like those imposed on Venezuela, “regime change” operations that leave countries like Libya in shambles, or straight up wars of aggression like those in Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, or dozens more, the US imperialists have proven over and over again that they are the number-one oppressors on the planet.
